"This has been a long time coming. We made a promise to improve the quality of life for our soldiers and families at Fort Campbell, and we're ready to deliver in a big way," said Col. Jeremy Bell, Fort Campbell garrison commander. "All the hard work of the leaders and our privatized housing partner Lentleys is paying off. The most important thing we celebrate is the voice of military families. We owe it to them to listen and make Fort Campbell a great Soldier and family experience," he said.

The $87.4 million investment will provide the Fort Campbell community with quality housing that our veterans and families are proud to call home. In addition to this project, according to Bell, there is more to come.

In January, the U.S. took another step forward in improving privatized housing by approving agreed terms for Lendlease's $1.1 billion capital investment plan. Fort Campbell is one of six facilities receiving substantial housing investment under the program. Other facilities include Fort Knox, Kentucky; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Wainwright, Alaska; Fort Drum, New York; and homes in Oahu, Hawaii.

"The next phase of development is also exciting. Plans are being finalized, but Lendlease's $1.1 billion investment will help build 500 more new homes to replace the current legacy stock at Fort Campbell and better meet the expectations of our military families today and for generations to come," said Philip Carpenter. Loan Lease' I Community. CEO. Also, about 400 houses in two of our old districts are planned to be fully renovated.

"Development plans provide community improvements designed with residents at the forefront; improve the look and feel of the community; and ensure housing meets the needs of Soldiers and their families today and into the future. Our goal is to ensure Fort Campbell remains one of the best places to live and serve," Bell said.
